Public Involvement

Public involvement is an important part of the FUDS Program. The Corps regularly hosts public meetings, maintains this website and conducts mailings to keep the public informed about the project. These activities are designed to inform stakeholder's and other related parties of the basic project objectives and provide the Corps of Engineers an opportunity to develop an understanding of community goals for the project.

A Removal Action Project is scheduled to begin in late January of 2006 in the Redbud Drive and Dogwood Road areas in Twiggs County. Residents of the area are strongly encouraged to get involved in the project by contacting:
